The DCG, a committee bringing together ECHA and industry representatives, met on 27 November 2017 to resolve the issues raised by the REACh 2018 registration campaign. From 1 June 2018, substances imported into the European Union with a volume of more than 1 tonne/year and not registered with ECHA may no longer be placed on the market.
As part of this registration campaign, the Committee invites manufacturers and importers to inform their customers of their registration intentions with regard to the substances and mixtures they supply.
This information will help to avoid registration problems for critical substances for manufacturers and therefore supply problems throughout their supply chain.
